*Update (7/23) For anyone who was listening and wondered what happened (Flatt & Scruggs in the middle of our set) WSM lost power and the remote feed was broken for a few minutes before it returned to the remote feed at the Loveless Cafe.

The Boxcars are performing tonight (7/21) at the Loveless Cafe out side of Nashville, TN. We kick the show off at 8pm eastern 7pm central. It will be broadcast on WSM 650 AM and also streaming at: http://www.wsmonline.com/ (click “listen live”) If you can’t be with us in person checkout the stream. The Boxcars in the Studio

The Boxcars were in the studio last weekend to work on our new project. We made a lot of progress despite the monsoon. The session took place at Rick Wasson’s studio in Stanton, KY. Everyone, with the exception of Keith, had recorded there at one time or another on other various projects . We chose Rick’s place for the comfortable and low-stress environment… not to mention the great gear!

We thinks the tracks had a great feel about them and can’t wait to get this project completed to share with all of you! We’ll have some sound samples up before long so watch this site and be sure to sign-up for our newsletter.
